In-Home Dog Training Sessions
Our in-home sessions are recommended for dogs that need help with issues stemming from or seen in a home setting. Training focuses on issues such as: Leash reactivity, barking, resource guarding, crate training, separation anxiety, etc.
Each session includes a 1-hour meeting with a trainer followed up with a customized training plan to help you meet your training goals.
These training sessions are offered at your home and are individually scheduled according to availability. Late cancellation will result in a fee of $50. This fee applies to no-show or appointments not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled session.

8 1-Hour In-Home Training Sessions

Puppy Desensitization

Our expert handlers gently introduce touches to your puppy's face, ears, paws, and mouth, ensuring a positive association with handling. This specialized program readies your furry friend for vet visits, social interactions at the park, and daily activities at home. We boost your puppy's confidence and reduce stress with a customized approach and positive reinforcement techniques.
No Nipping Training

Say goodbye to unwanted nipping behaviors with our specialized training service at the dog daycare! Embark on an exhilarating Urban Hike through downtown Seattle with our experienced handlers! In just 45 minutes, your furry friend will explore bustling streets, scenic parks, and vibrant neighborhoods, gaining valuable exercise and mental stimulation. Our guided hike provides physical activity and socializes your dog to new environments, reinforces obedience training, and prevents boredom.
Treadmill Time
$14 for 10 minutes
Treadmill Time provides both mental and physical exercise for your dog. We'll start with getting your dog comfortable on the treadmill, then get them walking and running. Perfect for those dogs who need more physical exercise or for getting your dog exercise on those bad weather days.

Why does my dog need the Bordetella vaccination every 6 months?
Bordetella, commonly known as kennel cough, is a concern in environments where dogs are in close contact, like daycare. To ensure the health and safety of all our furry guests, we've established a 6-month Bordetella vaccination rule, based on consultations with veterinarians. For added convenience, Downtown Dog Lounge offers an in-house intranasal version of this vaccine.
How long are the training sessions?
Our training services vary in length from 15 minutes to 60 minutes depending on what you select.
Do you use positive reinforcement techniques?
Yes, our experienced trainers use positive reinforcement techniques to teach obedience, manners, and more. We focus on building a strong bond between you and your dog.
