Naughty Fees
Daycare
Reservations for daycare must be made before 7 PM the day prior to drop-off to guarantee a space. A $10 fee will be charged for any reservation made after this cut-off time, including same-day reservations.
Applies to drop-offs or pick-ups outside normal business hours: before 7 AM on weekdays, before 8 AM on weekends, and after 7 PM on weekdays, or after 5 PM on weekends.
Daycare cancellations less than 12 hours prior to scheduled daycare date incur a cancellation fee of $25.
To ensure the best care during holidays, we apply a small surcharge for daycare:
Holidays (4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, MLK Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's):
A $15 per day surcharge on the holiday date.
Boarding
Reservations for boarding must be made before 7 PM the day prior to drop-off to guarantee a space. A $10 fee will be charged for any reservation made after this cut-off time, including same-day reservations.
Boarding cancellations less than 24 hours prior to scheduled boarding date incur a cancellation fee of $50.
Downtown Dog Lounge requires that you drop off your dog on the day of a boarding stay before 3 PM. We do this to ensure your pooch gets time to go into the park, expel energy and become part of the pack before all dogs go up for dinner at 5 PM. Exceptions can be made for extenuating circumstances, but this incurs an after-hours fee of $16. We appreciate your trust in the Downtown Dog Lounge and look forward to your pups staying with us!
During holiday date ranges, a $150 non-refundable deposit is required. Cancellations made less than 72 hours prior to the scheduled stay will result in the forfeiture of this deposit. For the minor holidays we ask for 48 hours ntice, and its a $50 fee.
Major Holiday Dates for DDL:
Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's.
Minor Holiday Dates for DDL:
4th of July, Memorial day, Labor Day, and MLK Day.

Grooming
Charged if a grooming service is cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice or if there is a no-show.
This handling fee is charged if the dog is not picked up within 2 hours of completion of grooming.
Bathing
Charged if a bathing service is cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice or if there is a no-show.
This handling fee is charged if the dog is not picked up within 2 hours of completion of bathing.
Evaluation
Charged if an evaluation is cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice or if there is a no-show.
