Leaving Seattle for an upcoming vacation or business trip? No matter how long you’re gone, we’ll make sure your dog receives the best care possible with our overnight boarding services. Daycare play is included with boarding stays and we offer walking services for additional fresh air and exercise. Our facilities are monitored with a crew member on-site 24/7 and you can check in on your pooch with our live webcams. Our staff specializes in following your specific instruction so that your pooch receives their meals prepared just like they are at home and are administered any necessary medications. Schedule a bath or groom on the last day of their stay and pick up a clean pooch!
- All new dogs are required to have an evaluation day as well as an additional day of daycare at the location you plan to board your pup.
- Please be aware that New Dog Evaluations are currently booked out about 4 weeks in advance at our Ballard and South Lake Union locations.
- Future boarding dates cannot be booked or guaranteed until after your dog has completed and passed their New Dog Evaluation. We are unable to make exceptions to this, as it’s important to the safety of our crew and all the dogs in our care.
Enrichment: All dogs need varying amounts of mental stimulation, and sometimes traditional daycare isn’t the best fit. With Enrichment Daycare, we carefully select a group of dogs that match each other’s temperament to provide a comfortable space for them to learn boundaries and build confidence. Enrichment is essentially a mixture of daycare and obedience training. Older dogs and shy dogs also benefit from Enrichment by tailoring daycare activities to their comfort level of stimulation. We will use treats in these sessions to encourage good behavior and teach simple cues, so please inform us of any allergies that your dog may have. Please visit our Enrichment page for more information.
Health and Wellness– If your dog is sick, we kindly ask that you keep them at home until they are no longer contagious. Dogs say hello with their noses and their backends, so some viruses can easily spread in a highly social environment like Downtown Dog Lounge. Please do not bring them in if they are showing signs of illness or diarrhea. If you have brought them into the vet within 10 days prior to your arrival, please let our concierge know so they can look for signs of illness during their stay. We reserve the right to turn away any sick dogs coming into our facilities for the well-being of the other dogs in our care.
