Downtown Dog Lounge features a variety of obedience training classes available for
your dog. Check out our schedule below to find out if we have a training class to
cure your pup's bad habits. With 3 locations in Seattle, Downtown Dog Lounge can
take care of your training and obedience needs as well as daycare, overnight boarding,
grooming and on-site vet services. We are always adding new classes so check this
page frequently.
45 Minute Private 1-on-1 Training with Cora Wittekind or Amy Wagner
Downtown Dog Lounge offers one-on-one training for your dog while they stay with
us at the Downtown Dog Lounge. We also offer private lessons with you and your dog
either at any of our 3 Downtown Dog Lounge locations or in the comfort of your home.

Our trainers can help you with behavior modification (everything from aggression
and housetraining, to seperation anxiety and destructive behavior) as well as fun
trick training or other obedience commands.
- $35 with daycare or overnight stays.
- $165 for 5 sessions with daycare or overnight stays.
- $55 without daycare or overnight services.
- $255 for 5 sessions without daycare or boarding.
- $85 for at home training. Fuel charges may apply.

No Jump/No Pull Training Class
Lead by: Cora Wittekind
You will learn some basic training techniques to teach your dog that jumping on
people isn't an appropriate "hello" and that pulling your shoulder out of socket
is not your idea of a fun walk. This is an AMAZING class!

Puppy Kindergarten
Lead by: Susan Oshie
This "puppy kindergarten" is a fun class that helps all new dog owners learn what
it takes to be a new pet parent. Whether this is your first dog or simply a new
addition to the family, this is a great place to start.
Puppy classes hold a maximum of 12 dogs, and are for puppies 10 weeks old and up.
In puppy kindergarten, you will learn:
- Puppies' socialization and playtime
- Basic equipment and leash training
- Grooming and nail trimming
- Crate training and confinement options
- How to cure puppy problems: house-training, mouthing, chewing & jumping up
Tuesdays at Elliott - 7-8pm
Saturdays at Belltown - 10-11am
6 Sessions-$150
6 weeks: includes all Saturdays and Tuesdays-$225 This is the best value and allows
maximum socialization for puppies!
Puppy Socialization classes: Revolving enrollment. Susan Oshie also provides booklets
and gear that are very helpful for the positive training of your puppy. You can
buy these online and pick them up at class.
We recommend you follow up with obedience training, to learn even more great ways
of blending your dog into your family.
